About Tex: His registered name is Hightec Hitman and barn name is Tex. Tex spent 2007 racing. He finished 4 or 5 races, but never with great results. He currently looks 'sucked up like a greyhound', like most conditioned races horses. He needs some weight and someone that he can learn to trust. He wants to be loved on, but doesn't want you to know it. He has that "competitor" mentality.

Why he ended up with SCR: He began "slowing down" on the track and so the trainer contacted us to see if we could help transition him before he was pushed too hard.
Past health & soundness issues: He "tweaked" his suspensory ligament during his last race (Nov. 27, 2007). The vet ultra-sounded it and determined it was not torn and 30+ days off should be sufficient to allow it to heal.
Ideal home: Tex would excel with someone who could give him tons of love and start him slowly. His breeding indicates he would make an awesome eventer or jumper.
