About Snackers: His registered name is Snack Basket and barn name is Snackers. He raced until he was 6 and then has been a lead pony for the last 6 years. He is a very kind and quiet guy who is very trainable. He is currently schooling Training level dressage and Beginner Novice cross country with some Novice questions. He is quiet and soft in the bridle.
Why he ended up with SCR: Since most "lead" riders have their own horses, he no longer has a consistent job on the track. His owner wanted to pass him along so we could place him in a new career before he got much older.
Past health & soundness issues: He has been 100% sound, however has had an injury to the right front fetlock. We have current x-rays of the area to prove their are no chips or other issues.
Ideal home: Snackers would be a fantastic pony club horse or eventing horse.
