About Max: His registered name is A Maximum Buzz and barn name is Max. He raced for 3 seasons (2005, 2006, and 2007) with several wins. He is a very sweet horse with a great mind. He wants to please and loves attention. He has proven to be very smart and a "thinker". He has been restarted on the trails and is proving to be fairly quiet under saddle.
Bloodlines: He sire is Matricule by A.P. Indy who is by Seattle Slew. His dam is No Small Matter by Joanie's Chief. You can find his complete pedigree by clicking here.
Why he ended up with SCR: He is getting a little older and has begun "slowing down" a bit on the track. The owners decided to let him start a new career rather than risk an injury on the track.
Past health & soundness issues: He has confirmed arthritis in the right knee, and will need injections to help stay "maintainably" sound.
Ideal home: Max should suit a lower level eventing, dressage, or trail home.
