SCR depends on the generosity of the public to help fund our programs. There are three main ways to help:
- Make a donation (monetary or an item of need from our "Wish List")
- Sponsor a horse
- Volunteer your time.
Donations: Monetary donations are much appreciated as it allows us to get items of need or aids in costs of rescuing future horses (ie. gas, travel expenses, etc). In addition to monetary donations, we very much appreciate receiving items listed on our Wish List.
Sponsorship: You can help sponsor a horse for as little as $50/month or solely sponsor a horse for $300/month. Please contact Annie for more information about this program!
Volunteering: We can always use help around the farm! If you want to help and have some time to donate, please contact Annie! We couldn't make this organization work without our wonderful volunteers!
100% of your donations goes towards feed, veterinary, farrier, housing costs and general care of our rescue horses.
All monetary donations and most material item donations are tax-deductible. All adoptions fees paid are tax deductible as well.
