BOARDING
Rainbow Meadow Farm admits an exclusive group of boarders to the facility. Care of the horses is our highest priority. We believe we provide the best care around. Our facility is a fun place; people enjoy spending time at the farm.
There are three options for boarding at our facility: group pasture board, a private paddock with shelter, or an indoor stall with run out.
GROUP PASTURE:
Group pasture is an option available to potential boarders. Horses are grouped in rather mare or gelding fields. The fields are, on average, about 15 acres, of which usually no more than 5 horses will be in at any given time.
When there is no grazing available (due to seasonal changes), horses are fed twice per day. All fields have automatic waters which are cleaned often.
Our current group pasture board is $7/day.
PADDOCKS:
A limited number of paddocks are available to our boarders. Our paddocks are about a 1/2 acre, and have a 12'x12', three-sided shelter. The base of the shelters are concrete with rubber mats covering them. All paddocks have electricity in them and an automatic waterer.
Horses are fed twice per day with orchard and/or alfalfa hay. Any grain or vitamin supplements are provided by the owner. A fee will be assessed depending on complexity of the additional grain requirements.
Our current paddock board is $10/day.
STALLS:
Our indoor stalls are located in one of two beautiful barns. The stalls are a comfortable 12'x12' or 12'x16'. They have a concrete base with rubber mats covering them. The open stall fronts ensure good air circulation and skylights provide natural light.
Horses are fed three to four times a day, depending on need. We feed both orchard and/or alfalfa hay. Sweet feed is also available. All vitamins or specialty grains are provided by the owner and will be added as requested (*A fee may apply).
Our current rates are as follows:
Stalls: (In the small barn with the large runouts) $15/day.
Stalls: (In the large barn with the smaller runouts) $13/day
