FACILITY INFORMATION
Rainbow Meadow Farm, LLC is located approximately midway between Seattle and Portland on I-5 just 15 miles south of Olympia, Washington, in Grand Mound. There are 80 acres of gently sloping prairie lands with magnificent stands of oaks and curious Mima Mounds. The total field acreage is fenced and cross fenced with individual paddocks, as well as community fields.
Our facility includes:
- Two dressage arenas
- 1/2 mile sand covered gallop/pacing track
- Cross country course under construction; many fences completed
- 175' x 315' show jump field
- 5 acre camping area with mature shade trees
- Picnic area with tables, gas BBQ and fire pit
- 17 stall guest barn
- 7 stall barn
- 5 half acre pastures with private shelters
- Hot walker
Our plans include:
- Large indoor arena
- 1/2 acre water complex
- Completion of the cross-country courses (Hopeful to Preliminary)
Rainbow Meadow Farm was founded by the Childress family and inspired by their deep seated love of children, horses and equestrian activities. The farm is developing into one of the premier equestrian training facilities in the great Northwest.
Designed and built to provide specific training options from the beginning riders through the more advanced riders, the facility will offer opportunities to school cross country at various levels with safety in mind.
